Accommodation

Looking to organise accommodation for your attendance at the SPEVI conference? We have compiled a few places to book your accommodation!

The Manor Apartments

Attention conference delegates who are booked to stay at the Manor Apartment Hotel:

The hotel wishes to advise the reception desk is not staffed 24 hours a day and the hours of operation may impact people wishing to check in when the desk is closed. Operating hours are from 7:00 AM/8:00 PM Monday/Friday and 8:00 AM/4:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. The majority of you booked to stay at the hotel are likely to check in during Sunday, 12 January.

If you can, please try to arrive at the hotel prior to 4:00 PM for reception assistance and issuance of apartment keys and fob to access the elevator, a small device that needs to be swiped in order to move between floors on entry to the hotel. If you are planning to check in after 4:00 PM this Sunday, you will need to use the intercom system on the wall next to the door to contact the off sight after hours team who'll verbally issue you with a code to type into a safe to retrieve your apartment key. We are advised this process may not be accessible for vision impaired guests so if you have accessibility requirements and are travelling alone to the hotel, it's quite important you endeavour to get to the hotel during reception operating hours to gain the necessary assistance.

We have spoken with hotel staff who assure that someone will be on hand to guide guests to apartments, show how the swiping devices work, etc. For sighted guests checking in after hours, instructions for checking in will be located next to the front door.

If you're vision impaired, travelling alone and are not able to check in during business hours on Sunday, please call the hotel as soon as possible on 07 33194700. The hotel may reach out to guests checking in on Sunday to confirm arrangements.
