The organising Committee for the 2027 SPEVI conference warmly invites you to submit an abstract for presentation at our exciting event which will take place in Sydney, Australia from 18-20 January 2027.
Our conference, the largest gathering of vision professionals in the Oceania region provides presenters an ideal platform to showcase the latest trends and happenings across the sector with a guaranteed engaged and informed delegate list who will benefit from your work.
Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific, the world! Abstracts are welcome from anyone, anywhere!
Please use the form on this page to submit your abstract (300 words) , carefully following instructions to facilitate successful receipt of your information. The presentation topics include:

- Partnerships (parents, professionals, allied health, agencies and support services)
- Early Intervention

- Expanded Core Curriculum
- Young people’s perspectives
Submission of an abstract does not automatically qualify it for inclusion in the 2027 SPEVI Conference; all who submit abstracts will be contacted and advised as to whether they have been selected for presentation at next year's event. This call for abstracts closes at 5pm AEST on the 28th August.
